Smiling..shining like the moon .. all this and more is what the real chandrima is all about . She is vibrant .. precise and her power of emoting ... brilliant .. I have been moved beyond words by her power to touch your heart through her dynamics and voice control . So how can one be gentle and powerful at the same time ? You might well ask . Or fragile and strong ? That’s chandrima control over her subject .. excelling in her play of words and expression of voice . Knowing Chandrmaa Roy of Kobitay Kothalap has been both a pleasure and privilege for me. The pleasure of knowing a fascinating human being and the privilege of discovering the multifaceted and versatile talent that she carries. Coming from a modest background in a tier 2 city, she has displayed an unusual combination of academic talent in Engineering combined with high level of engagement as a professional artist in poetry and music. While she has chosen an academic career in teaching Engineering at a reputed college in Kolkata, she passionately pursues poetry and music in high quality public performances under the banner of KOBITAY KOTHALAP founded by her. চন্দ্রিমা এই প্রজন্মের আবৃত্তিকার দের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে উজ্জ্বল বললেও অত্যুক্তি হয়না। তার একাগ্রতা, নিষ্ঠা, শিল্পের প্রতি সমর্পণ এবং লড়ে যাওয়ার যে মনোবল, তাকে আমি অগ্রজ হলেও কুর্নিশ করি। চন্দ্রিমাকে যখন থেকে চিনি তখন তিনি নিতান্তই ছেলে মানুষ। তথাকথিতভাবে কোন সমর্থন ছাড়াই তার যাত্রা শুরু। কিন্তু আনন্দের কথা এই যে শত বিপর্যয়েও তাকে কোনোদিন পথভ্রষ্ট হতে দেখিনি, দেখিনি সাধনার বদলে অন্যপথ কে নির্বাচন করতে। তার কবিতা তার মতই মেধাবী, দৃপ্ত, মননশীল ও বহুমাত্রিক। আবার তারই মত মায়াময়, স্নেহশীল, মাতৃত্বময়ী। তার 'কবিতায় কথালাপ' বিশ্বের দরবারে সম্মানিত হোক, সমাদৃত হোক বিপুল সমারোহে। আমি তার আগামীর পথে আমার আশীর্বাদ ও অকুণ্ঠিত অভিবাদন রেখে যাই, এই সমাদর ও স্থান একান্তই চন্দ্রিমার অর্জন । সে আমাদের শিল্পচর্চার সুযোগ্য উত্তরসূরী।

মঞ্চ, মাইক্রোফোন এবং চন্দ্রিমা-- মানেই একটা ম্যাজিক। এমন ম্যাজিক যা কেবল চন্দ্রিমাই পারে। মেধার শাণিত ধারে, কণ্ঠের সাবলীল দক্ষতায়, হৃদয়ের উষ্ণতায়। তাকে যখন যে ভুমিকায় দেখেছি, মুগ্ধ হয়েছি। যেন সেই কাজটুকুর জন্যই সে নিবেদিত। আর এই নিষ্ঠা, একাগ্রতা ও নিয়মানুবর্তিতা তাকে করে তুলেছে perfection personified, ত্রুটিহীনতা বা অভাব বোধ ওর ধারকাছ দিয়ে যায়না। সাফল্য অনেককেই সাধনার পথ থেকে দূরে সরিয়ে দেয়, কিন্তু এ ক্ষেত্রেও চন্দ্রিমা এক উজ্জ্বল ব্যতিক্রম। তার ছাত্রাবস্থা থেকে আজ অব্দি কোনও বিষয়ে কোনও বিচ্যুতি দেখিনি। এই সময় ও পরিস্থিতির বিচারে যা আমাদের মত বুড়োদের খানিক স্বস্তি ও আশ্বাস দেয় তো বটেই। তবে যে কথাটা না বললেই নয়, তা হল ওর মনন। অমন মায়ের মত স্নেহ, যত্ন, আদর ভালোবাসা খুব কম মানুষই দিতে পারে। তার সব গুন বাদ দিলেও শুধু এইটুকুর জন্যই সে আমার বড় আদরের। চন্দ্রিমা বজ্রের মত কঠিন, আবার কুসুমের মত কোমল। যেমন গুনী ও বিদুষী, তেমনই অপার মাতৃত্বময়ী। মানুষ গাছের মত ছায়া দিতে পারলে আশপাশের মানুষের খুব আরাম। চন্দ্রিমার মধ্যে তেমন ছায়া আছে। আমি আমার সবটুকু আশীর্বাদ, ভালোবাসা, প্রার্থনা রেখে যাই তার আগামীর উদ্দেশ্যে। চন্দ্রিমা আমাদের সম্পদ, আমাদের অহংকারও।
